France gets tough with Internet Copyright Laws

France has introduced tough new laws to prevent breaches of copyright. For example, downloading copyright music or videos will become subject to fines or disconnection from the internet. An agency will be created to chase violators of copyright law.

France hopes it will become a model for the rest of the world!

Sarko says it is a model for other countries around the world that want to protect their creative industries and make clear to ordinary web users that not everything is free.

Good luck!
