Remember Eric?

Remember Eric? That is Eric Cantona, he of the much publicised scissor kick to a "fan", and much worshipped (or hated depending on your perspective) Manchester United player.

Well Eric was often quoted for his bizarre sayings but now Cantona is appearing in Face au Paradis (Facing Paradise), a work by Nathalie Saugeon directed by Rachida Brakni, Cantona’s wife, at the prestigious Théâtre Marigny off the Champs Élysées. Seems that it is not remarkable. Shame!

But here is an interesting fact: Cantona became France’s manager (Beach Soccer, no less) and led the team to victory in the 2005 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup, beating Portugal on penalties. Is there no end to this man's talent? Apparently, yes!
